AIR PASSENGERS CALL FOR EXTRA RUNAWAYS AT AIRPORTS

It has been suggested that Major Airports with high traffic levels should construct additional runways for aircrafts to land and not depend solely on one as is usually the case.

This call is coming strictly against the background that once an accident occurs on the only runway in an airport ,flight operations are closed until the tarmac is evacuated.

Major Airports around the world have more than one runway such that if one is blocked by any accident the other is available for use.
