A total of 2000 Motorcycles are to be provided towards providing jobs for 60000 residents of the state directly tackling the issue of unemployment.
The total amount involved in the procurement is 40 Million Dollars and beneficiaries are expected to pay back according to agreed terms and conditions.
The Motorcycles which are powered by charged batteries are to run for over Seventy Kilometers before the batteries are weak and facilities have been provided for the replacement of the weak batteries.
This development is expected to provide a big relief to the operators that may not have anything to do with petroleum products and also the passengers that are usually the first victims of high cost of Fuel.
