There have been appeals before the commencement of the protests that the action may be hijacked by enemies of the nation that may seize the opportunity to loot peoples properties and cause mayhem.
The appeals were ignored by people that were hellbent on rocking the boat of state and the consequences of the action are clear for all to see.
It should be put on records that the looting and vandalisations that took place in Kano State were not peaceful protests at all more so as the waving of Russian Flags by protesters in Kano leaves a lot of questions to be answered.
The fact that protesters in front of the Sultan of Sokoto chanted loudly that they want soldiers to take over government is another cause for concern since it implies that they are calling for a Military Take over of Government.
Well the President has addressed the Nation issuing a lot of policy statements that are pointers to the position of his government.
A popular saying has it that ,it is only in countries that do not have Laws that crimes do not exist.
A country that has Laws like Nigeria does will definitely punish those that break the Laws.
