Project has started to work, using the words of President
Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Project,the brainchild of a former Governor of Lagos,
Alhaji Jakande in 1983 which was cancelled by Major General
Muhammad Buhari as Military Head of State was interestingly
commissioned before his handover,at the instance of
Governor BabaJide Sanwoolu of Lagos,by the same Muhammadu
Buhari who cancelled it in 1983
The Blue line is expected to run from Marina to Mile Two
at the first instance.
The Red line which is in the works is expected to run from
Lagos Central is expected to Connect Agbado running through
Lagos settlements.
When fully operational,the notorious Lagos traffic congestion
is expected to be reduced since it is a mass transit vehicle.
